Met you, Seth. You are a sharp, wickedly unusual mind, and I like that.

  2. Got active on Twitter! I joined in the summer of 08 but didn’t really start participating until Jan ‘09. in 6 months I had less than 300 followers and from Jan until today have almost 10,000! Most importantly I have made new friends, interviewed inpsiring women and done business with some amazing people I have met on Twitter.

    Great question!

definitely hard to narrow it down to one…but it would be “taking command of my business”.

I’m really glad I started running. Not only does my heart thank me, that little voice inside my head that said I was not an athlete has been silenced. I may not look like a typical runner, but I AM a runner.

    Hey Seth,

2009 was the year of saying yes and embracing almost every risk thrown my way. As such, and only because of my go for it attitude, 2010 will be a year unlike any other.

    Looking forward to sharing more,

    David

  6. Wrote more songs with Dave Tutin and committed to doing a four-song album with him.

  7. Had conviction. This was the year I let Hugh MacLeod remind me to Ignore Everybody and focus on what I know to be right. Hope you had a great 2009 and are looking for an even better 2010!

  8. In May, I invested last of my savings in a 5 day train trip vacation to Disneyland and SeaWorld with my 15 year old son.

  9. Maura says:

Moved 2,300 miles West, and love it!

  10. Lost my job.

I wasn’t happy there so it was more of a blessing. Yes, I know it was during the Great Recession, but it made me sharper than ever, and I was able to network, deeply immerse myself in social media education and find a great new job that I am passionate about.

  12. I’m glad I took time to give Twitter a chance. By doing so, I made life altering relationships. Absolutely amazing what can be accomplished in 140 characters.
